This light is pretty, it was relatively easy to install and it was pretty reasonably priced. Something to keep in mind is that it comes with smart bulbs. Dont use one bulb to test it before you have finished installing the whole thing, put all the bulbs in at the same time or you'll get bulbs that are out of sync with each other. If this does happen, i.e. you get one bulb that shows cool while the others are warm, take the cool one out turn on the light and put the cool one back in, that puts them all on the same spectrum. Other than that, it's a good light. It is pretty big and it does resemble an upside down cake!Longer wires would have been easier to install. Not as bright as we thought it would be. Looks good in our room, but we will be adding different bulbs.Looks great in my hall bath.We installed this in a new back foyer on our mid-century ranch home. We wanted a mid-century vibe but we're making changes on a shoestring budget. This light fits the bill. You can choose the warmth of the light, and it's nice and bright. It was kind of a pain to install, as two prongs were broke off so my husband had to make do with zip ties, but he's handy that way. Because of that a seam shows that I'm not fond of, but no one is going to care. If you can't afford better, a recommend it.Love this light. Perfect lighting in our hallway. Bright and very clean looking. Liked it so much that I bought additional versions of the lighting for our kitchen and dinette.Bought for hallway, wasn't sure if would be to big but ended up buying 3 more. Just beautiful for the money.Drum shade needs to be white not yellow. It's a modern design and casts a "yellow" color to grey and white modern bath design. It’s a great light fixture, easy install, sturdy, great size for a hallway or a room. I would of gave it a 5 star if it was bright enough, they put a thick beige cloth around it, bad move, decreasing the brightness, makes it yellowish even at 5000K daylight.
