Award winning singer songwriter, Karen E. Reynolds has performed at many prestigious festivals and is a regular at premier venues such as Eddie's Attic in Atlanta and Nashville's famed Bluebird Cafe. She has shared stages and performance billing with some of the best in the business, establishing herself as one of their peers. A consummate performer who can command any audience, the press labels her with varying descriptions, calling her 'hearty voiced' one moment and claiming her to have the 'voice of an angel' the next. But they all agree...'she can sing and, boy, can she craft a hook.' Karen signed a publishing agreement in 2007 which brought attention from both independent and major labels. She now has a variety of publishing arrangements and has chalked up a list of independent cuts. With three releases of her own to date, her newest CD, 'Read The Book' is Karen's 4th release of all original tunes and includes a couple of well chosen co-writes with songwriters, Van Eaton, Robert K. Wolf and Robert Lovett, plus a spoken word track from East Tennessee poet, Bill Alexander. Rounding out the CD is a 'bonus' track that was written via Karen's participation as a mentor in the prestigious 'Words and Music in Schools' Program, an educational forum presented by the Country Music Hall of Fame. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Grammy Winning Studio engineer, John Saylor (Neil Young, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Charlie Pride, Carrie Hassler, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ronnie Milsap, Megadeath, Hank Williams Jr and many more), 'Read The Book' features a host of stellar musicians such as Todd McCoig (Lee Greenwood, Rick James, Aaron Tippen), Trevor Reddick (The Temptations, Lee Greenwood, Louise Mandrell, Billy Dean, Dolly Parton and more), plus musician's, Don Cassell, Terry *Teep* Phillips, Evie Andrus, Will Ross and Dale Jolley.
