I bought this book at the recommendation of a friend. I like it a lot. It's simple, plain language, easy to read print leads to complex conversations.I would imagine it could be a fun book to use at a dinner party of close friends. Only if your friends like to think critically, have ethical discussions, debates and can walk away respecting each other's opinions.This book is for people who like to see things from different perspectives, and would be best served without judgment.I recommend looking through the questions before you open it up to a dinner party with friends from work. Choose your questions wisely. It may lead you to a hot, uncomfortable and ongoing debate among peers.Maybe not introduce the book at the Thanksgiving dinner.I would definitely use this book to get to know new people better.It opens up conversations about topics that that would normally take years to get to in a dating situation.I would use this book to help you filter out people who you may not ultimately connect with.I imagine people who are dating don't want to wait 2 years to get to a place of realization this person is incompatible with my value system.Using this book as a "date activity" can provide the same amount of information and knowledge you would get from a 2 year relationship. ?The activity of asking and answering over wine and cheeseor an ice cream in the park is an excellent way of bonding and exploration.If you are a parent; I may introduce this book to my children. You could definitely generate some good discussion at your dinner table. Whether it be a calm and quiet or hot and heated discussion there is something to be learned from the conversation.It could be that one tool your older children use to help them filter out some potential bad apples.I also think this would be a great tool for counselors.Yea, this book is worth buying and keeping.
