Why didn't this band make it? Every track on this album is an instant classic. I saw these guys in '97 at the North Star Bar in Philly and they just rocked! Bought this CD on the spot and it's one of my favorites. It's a rare R&B album that you can listen to from wall to wall and there isn't a bad track. So why did this band vanish without a trace? I think it was a case of bad timing. R&B and funk (this CD is a great combination of both) fell out of favor in the 90's and hasn't really gotten it's due since. These guys were a decade or so late to the party!Check out their cover of "Cold Sweat". My favorite interpretation of this classic, combining funk/R&B/soul with rollicking Texas roadhouse worthy of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
